Please share with your network about this event in Birmingham. As a second

we are proud to show the strength of education and professional experience of
Latinos throughout the US at our fairs.

We encourage you to attend the event as you can meet with up to 15 companies and

Sensory, Inc. is currently recruiting native Spanish speakers living in the US to participate in a series of voice recording sessions in Huntsville.  We are looking for men and women of any background between ages 18 and 65, as well as boys and girls from ages 6 to 12.

Sensory, Inc. is a speech recognition technology developer based in California.  Sensory's technology is used in a wide range of consumer products, such as toys, cell phones, and small appliances.  As part of its internal product development, Sensory needs to collect recordings of different people saying specific words and phrases.  These records are then used to train Sensory's speech recognitiion technology.

Participants will be asked to read a list of times, dates, phone numbers, and short words an phrases in Spanish.  Recording lasts approximately 45 minutes per adult and 20 minutes per child.  Each adult can complete a maximum of two recording sessions; children may only complete one recording session each.

Adults will be compensated $40 per recording session.  Compensation for children is $30 per session.  We want to schedule 20 to 100 sessions in Huntsville.  Sessions will be scheduled for Monday, September 29th through Friday, October 10th, between 9 am and 9 pm.  The recordings will be made at Digium's office, located at 445 Jan Davis Drive.  A linguist from Sensory will be on hand during the sessions to carry out the recording and distribute compensation.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with Austin Leirvik at Sensory, who is coordination this project.  You can reach him by email at aleirvik@sensoryinc.com or by phone at 503-546-6378 x343.
