Schedule of Upcoming Events and Programs
The next general membership meeting will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Highlands United Methodist Church at 6 pm. A free Spanish lesson will precede the meeting at 5:00. A map and driving directions are on our contact page. Following the successful Christmas party we had at Cantina Laredo Restaurant in December, we have decided to have a social gathering every month or so. We enjoy our Association much more when we have the opportunity to get to know each other and form friendships. Our social connections are the basis for everything else we do. We encourage all our members to join together with us at these events. Come for a good time, leave with a good feeling of friendship, fun, and dedication of purpose. Check this page for these upcoming socials.
You are cordially invited to
participate in the January 22nd International Society of
Huntsville social reception, Culture at the Center.
The mission of the Society is "to bring diverse
international elements together for social interaction and
cultural awareness in the general region of Huntsville,
Alabama." The not-for-profit organization consists of
twenty-four board members representing twenty countries.
We believe that you will be
personally rewarded in meeting and socializing with an
eclectic mix of "internationals" from within our community.
Meet special program guests, Dr. David Williams, President,
UAH Huntsville, and Brenda Martin, Director, Office of
Multicultural Affairs, City of Huntsville.
Looking forward to seeing you
all there --
Best Regards, Hilda Mary
